Lulu Junior Author of the Month - Christopher O.
We’ve got a short but sweet trip to the jungle for July. Our featured story is “In the Jungle” by Christopher. Let’s get into it and find out what happens!
We meet our two main characters, Matthew and Christopher, in a jungle in Florida. They decide they want to go see a cheetah in the jungle. They end up seeing a lot of different animals. They get to see: eagles, tigers, bears, lions, parrots, platypuses, monkeys, and sloths! It was a fun day outside, even though it was very hot.
Christopher realizes that they haven’t seen any cheetahs yet. Matthew finds a worker and asks if there are any cheetahs in the jungle. The worker tells them there are cheetahs across the street.
Matthew was very excited to find the cheetahs. He turns around to tell Christopher, but Christopher is gone!
Where did he go?
Matthew decides that if he can’t find Christopher, he has to go and see the cheetahs by himself. So he makes his way across the street to see them.
When Matthew looks up, guess what he sees? Christopher!
It’s so fun to see that Matthew and Christopher had an awesome jungle adventure, and that they were able to meet up to see the cheetahs.
Big thanks to Christopher for taking us on a jungle adventure! Interested in hearing how Christopher came up with his story? Read on to see what he had to share in his interview!
