By Emma Gutierrez / November 12, 2025

This month, we’re sharing a story all about determination! Don’t miss our November featured story, “Norris’ House” by Norris F. Let’s dive in!

There is a boy named Norris who loves to build. One day, he decides to make a house. It looks great, but sadly, it falls. Norris is so sad but says, “I’m not going to give up!” He tries over and over again, but the house won’t stay up.

The next day, he decides to try a few more times. He will never give up because he loves building. He is happy and positive; he knows he can do it.

He almost succeeds, but the house falls again. But he doesn’t give up and tries again. He does it! The house stays up.

Norris decides he’s going to build the best mansion there is. But as he is making his decision… he hears something. His house fell.

He tries to build it up again, but it’s almost bedtime. He tries again, but it doesn’t work, and he decides to start fresh the next day.

He starts again with no luck. But then Norris has an idea… what if he uses some glue? It works! Norris is so excited.

He can now build his mansion. He is tired, but he continues. Norris does it again! He ends up building the biggest mansion in the world!

Thank you, Norris, for sharing your story! Your determination reminds us all to keep trying, no matter the challenges we may face.
