The Rainbow Resource Center’s seventh annual writing contest is in the books! Just like in years past, we’re highlighting the winners from the 2021 content. 

First, here’s a quick video from the RRC’s staff about the contest’s winners.

7-10 Age Group

1st Place Winner: Grace in the Form of a Dog by Mylan Satteson, Age 8

Runner Up: The Milkmaid’s Voyage by Greta Faugstad, Age 10

11-13 Age Group:

1st Place Winner: The Stowaway by Evangeline P., Age 12

Runner Up: Ralph the Elf by Marit Faugstad, Age 12

14-18 Age Group

1st Place Winner: From Dog to Dog by Sophie Sanchez, Age 17

Runner Up: Two Letters and a Coin by Rachel Olson, Age 15
