Located in New York City’s West Village, the family-owned toy store has been providing the supplies and toys kids need to fuel creativity and imagination since 2014.
We sat down for an interview with Kit from Teich Toys & Books and he gave us some insight into what their store is all about.
Meet Teich Toys
“At our store we focus on mainly classic toys, not a lot of battery-operated things, not a lot of flashing lights and sounds. Mainly because, I think there is enough of that in the world already. And it doesn’t seem to be stopping or slowing down. If we can offer a haven or shelter away from that, then that’s great.”
A haven that helps a child cultivate the beautiful beginnings of an idea to start creating their own story. A perfect place for our Lulu Junior kits!
“When they come back with a book and show us what they did, it’s a real treat, they really get a sense that my idea is really turned into something,” says Kit.
